The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to release a Request for Quote (RFQ) to LECO Corporation. In Saint Joseph, MI on a sole source basis for a quantity of one (1) LECO AMH55 Automatic Microindentation Testing System for Vickers & Knoop Measurements, P/N: AMH558DAADCM-SP, in support of Lakehurst Materials Engineering. The Government intends to procure the above service under the authority of 10 USC 3204 (c) (1), FAR 6.302-1. The Government does not own the data rights. A competitive drawing package for this effort is not available. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal in writing that may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government, not to open the requirement to competition based upon the response to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Responses must be received within fifteen (15) days of publication of this notice.
