The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, intends to solicit on a Limited competition basis to Dell and their authorized distributors for (3) VxRail E560F with the configurations listed below. 3 x VxRail V570F nodes (PowerEdge R640 1U rackmount servers) Per node config Dual Xeon 5118 (12c) 2.3GHz / 192GiB RAM 1 x 800GB SAS SSD cache + 2 x 3.84TB SAS SSD capacity (6 - # free capacity slots) 4 x 10Gb data ports + 1 x 1Gb iDRAC management port Infrastructure Totals Compute: 72c CPU, 576GiB RAM Storage: 23.04TB RAW / 11.79TB effective Data Network: 12 x 10Gb RJ45 ports (Minimum required 6 x 10Gb RJ45) Management: 6 x 1Gb RJ45 I DRAC ports Lakehurst NAVAIR has to use Dell products to be compatible with the other NAVAIR Pentest Sites and the National Cyber Range (NCR). Using a different vendor's product would introduce integration issues that would disrupt efforts that could deny or degrade system operations. NAVAIR intends to procure under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (C) (1), as implemented in FAR 6.302-1. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS.
