The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to release a Request for Quote (RFQ) to KITCO Fiber Optics (CAGE: 08RC6) in Virginia Beach, VA on a sole source basis for a quantity of three (3) Commercial Off The Shelf Aviation Fiber Optic Termination Training Courses (Course No. 6000-1410) for aid in using the E-2D KITCO Fiber Optic Termini Repair Set, P/N 0741-8008. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate this requirement under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1), FAR 6.302-1 - Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, the Government will consider all responses received within fifteen (15) days after the date of publication of this synopsis. Registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) (https://www.sam.gov) is mandatory for consideration. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on the responses to this notice will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
