The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ (NAWCADLKE) intends to award a sole source Firm-Fixed price contract for twenty-four (24) of each of the following Oil/Water Heat Exchanger Parts in support of the US Navy's Electromagnetic Aircraft Launch System (EMALS): Zinc Anode Part No.: 701-09698-010 Qty 24 Support Plug Part No.: 701-09698--011 Qty 24 O-ring Part No.: 701-09698--012 Qty 24 This will be a soles Source to: AquaChem, Knoxville, TN The NAICS code associated with this requirement is 332410. The Government intends to procure the above items under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c) (1), FAR 6.302-1. The limited number of responsible sources listed above are the only companies known that can meet the agency's need for the Heat Exchanger Parts. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal in writing that may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Registration in the Department of Defense DoD System for Award Management (SAM) database will be a prerequisite for receiving an award.
