The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ (NAWCADLKE) intends to award a competitive Firm-Fixed price contract for one-hundred ninety-two (192) of each of the following Air/Water Heat Exchanger Parts in support of the US Navy's Electromagnetic Aircraft Launch System (EMALS): Zinc Anode Part No.: 153-1202-41 Qty 192 Support Plug Part No.: 153-1202-4 Qty 192 O-ring Part No.: 159-1202-46 Qty 192 This will be a limited competition among the following companies: -Thermofin, Candiac, Quebec, Canada -Triman Industries, Inc., West Berlin, NJ -ASAP Semiconductor, LLC, Irvine CA The NAICS code associated with this requirement is 332410. The Government intends to procure the above items under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c) (1), FAR 6.302-1. The limited number of responsible sources listed above are the only companies known that can meet the agency's need for the Heat Exchanger Parts. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal in writing that may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Registration in the Department of Defense DoD System for Award Management (SAM) database will be a prerequisite for receiving an award.
