The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), Lakehurst, NJ, intends to negotiate on a limited-competition basis with Tronair (Cage code: 59603) and their authorized distributors, Dutch Valley (Cage: 31068), IPT (Cage: 4KOV2), A3 (Cage: 7D4R3), Carolina GSE (Cage: 3YDK0), SATAIR Group (Cage: 63Y25) and Availl (Cage: 07068), for the fabrication of three (3) Fuel Flush-Leak Check Units, P/N: 07-3015-0900, NSN: 4920-01-641-5345. Tronair the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of the equipment, is the only known source that is capable of providing the above equipment of the same form, fit and function that is compatible with the existing configuration. The Government intends to procure the above under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1), FAR 6.302-1. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of this notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
