The Naval Air Warfare Center - Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ, under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), Only One Responsible Source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, intends to issue a solicitation on a limited-competitive basis to Malabar Inc., Simi Valley, CA and their authorized distributors for the brand name procurement of a quantity of two (2) Malabar part number PF53467-1P Skydrol Hydraulic Fluid Dispenser 5 Gal, with a two year option to procure four (4); and three (3) Malabar part number 71400A-8, Forward Body Jack, with a two year option to procure four (4); in support the P-8A aircraft. Malabar is the original designer, developer and manufacturer of the support equipment identified above. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to open this requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of this notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a full and open competitive procurement.
