THE PURPOSE OF THIS AMENDMENT IS TO UPDATE THE NAICS CODE. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Lakehurst, New Jersey, intends to procure by Limited Competition, the Skydrol Hydraulic Power Supply Units for use at the Organizational Level of Maintenance in support of the P-8A aircraft. The Skydrol Hydraulic Power Supply Units provides power to the P-8A aircraft during maintenance to the aircraft. Competition will be limited to Tronair and its authorized distributors for the manufacture of part numbers 57305KV3BBCI-A1 (electric) and 673A5FCBBCLMNY4 (diesel) and Hydraulics International, Inc. for the manufacture of part numbers 040499-100SS (electric) and 040489-100SS (diesel). The contract will be Firm Fixed-Price. The Government requirement is a quantity of twelve (12) for electric and ten (10) diesel power supply units. The Government will only release the solicitation/RFP, including any subsequent amendments, on the Beta.SAM.gov website. No telephone requests for the solicitation will be accepted, no written requests will be accepted and no hard copies of the solicitation package will be mailed. Any amendment issued will be posted to the same website. After the solicitation release, vendors should regularly access the website to ensure they have all amendments. THIS PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. The Government is not obligated to and will not pay for any information received from potential sources as a result of this synopsis. This synopsis is for administrative purposes only. It does not constitute a solicitation for bid or proposals, and should not be construed as a commitment by the Government.
