Based on the responses to this sources sought notice/market research, this requirement may be set-aside for small business or procured through full and open competition. Be advised that the U.S. Government will not be able to set aside this requirement if 2 or more small businesses do not respond with information to support the set-aside. (Ref: FAR 19.502) Description: USS EMORY S LAND (AS 39), a U.S. Pacific Fleet submarine tender, homeported in Guam, will conduct complex and intrusive shipboard maintenance on Naval Base Guam, Guam, a forward deployed Naval Base, from 02 October 2023 to 05 February 2024. During this maintenance period, the ship will not be habitable and the ship’s galley will be closed. The Navy seeks a qualified Contractor in Guam to provide meal services to 375 Sailors three times a day (Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner) from 02 October 2023 thru 05 February 2023. All meals shall be served buffet-style in a dining area on the ship’s dedicated berthing barge. The dining area is equipped with a serving line and tables and chairs for patrons. All meal and beverage services shall be in accordance with the requirements of this Performance Work Statement (PWS). Place of Performance. The work to be performed under this contract will be accomplished on Naval Base Guam, Guam. 1.
