The proposed contract action is to provide support to assess insecticide resistance status of mosquito species and support pathogen detection and sentinel surveillance in Oman, performed by the Vector Biology Research program (VBRP), US Naval Medical Research Unit EURAFCENT (NAMRU-EAC). The NAVSUP FLCSI Naples intends to solicit and negotiate with one source only under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 by entering into a sole source contract with the medical entomology working team at VBRP, NAMRU-EAC detachment, Cairo, Egypt. This notice of intent is not a request for capability statements or competitive quotes; however, any firm who believes it can perform the required services may give written notice to the Contracting Office by 11 July 2025 at 11:00AM (Naples, Italy time).
