Pursuant to FAR 5.202(a)(12), this is a non-mandatory synopsis. This solicitation is intended only for sources duly authorized to operate and do business in the Kingdom of Jordan as prescribed by Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) 225.1103(3). Notice is hereby provided of the Naval Supply Systems Command Fleet Logistics Center Sigonella det. Naples (NAVSUP FLCSI – Naples) intent to award a sole-source purchase order to Jordan Central Public Health Lab (JCPHL), a directorate of the Jordan Ministry of Health (JMOH), for the sustainment of surveillance of influenza and other respiratory viruses at various regions of the Kingdom of Jordan and to provided laboratory support to Jordan and neighboring countries in the region under umbrella protocol “Surveillance for Influenza and other Respiratory Viruses”. The applicable NAICS code is 541714. These services are currently being performed by directorates of the JMOH under contracts N6817119P0100 and N6817119P0104. The approved sole source justification is attached hereto. This is not a request for quote. Any interested parties may submit capability information in order to challenge this intent to procure the services on a sole source basis from JCPHL; however, the final decision to process this requirement on a sole source basis rests with the Department of the Navy.
