Pursuant to FAR 5.202(a)(12), this is a non-mandatory synopsis. This solicitation is intended only for sources duly authorized to operate and do business in Italy as prescribed by Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) 225.1103(3). Notice is hereby provided of the Naval Supply Systems Command Fleet Logistics Center Sigonella det. Naples (NAVSUP FLCSI – Naples) intent to award a sole-source purchase order to Olympus Italia S.R.L. for the preventive maintenance of Olympus endoscopy medical equipment currently in use at U.S. Naval Hospital, NSA Naples Italy. The applicable NAICS code is 339112. Olympus Italia is currently performing these services under contract N6817118P0079, which expires 30 April 2020. The approved sole source justification is attached hereto. This is not a request for quote. Any interested parties may submit capability information in order to challenge this intent to procure the services on a sole source basis from Olympus Italia; however, the final decision to process this requirement on a sole source basis rests with the Department of the Navy.
