This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE (not a pre-solicitation notice or solicitation pursuant to FAR Part 5) and is a request for information to determine the capability and availability of potential commercial sources pursuant to FAR Part 10, Market Research. This notice is issued by the US Naval Hospital Guam Contracting Department, to identify sources capable of providing Installation of a Fire suppression system compatible to existing magnetic locks according to industry Standards. The Statement of Objectives are provided in Attachment 2: to this Notice. The complete Installation and start-up of a fire suppression system must be performed on site at the US Naval Hospital (USNH) Guam. A site visit to USNH Guam may be conducted and scheduled at a later date if needed. Any future contract that may be entered for Installation and start-up will be a firm-fixed price purchase order. The firm-fixed price purchase order will include all the terms and conditions governing the relationship between the service provider and the USNH Guam. The firm-fixed price purchase order will also contain the mutually agreed upon pricing for the requested Service / Supplies to be provided. The firm-fixed priced purchase order will be signed by an authorized representative of the Contractor provider and the Contracting Officer for the USNH Guam. There are no funds associated with this Sources Sought Notice. This Notice is for market research purposes only and does not constitute a Request for Quotation or Request for Proposal; nor is it to be considered a commitment by the USNH Guam. The USNH Guam will not pay for any information provided by interested parties; nor is there a basis for a claim against the USNH Hospital Guam resulting from any response to this Sources Sought Notice or from the use of this information by the USNH Guam. The service provider shall possess the required industry licenses , original equipment manufacturer or third party certifications / training to perform the requested Installation. Must adhere to local / Federal Fire code and OSHA Regulations. 2. The service provider shall supply all personnel, equipment, parts, materials, and transportation needed to perform and complete the requested Installation. 3. All staff performing the services must be fully trained, customer service oriented, consistently provide responsive, flexible, and cost effective services. The service provider shall ensure quality work performance per applicable standards and guidelines. 4. The service provider is expected to partner with the USNH Guam in continuously improving the quality of services performed and the relationship between the client and the service provider.
