This announcement constitutes only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation (N6809619Q0010) is being issued as a Request for Quotation. This notice and the incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR). This procurement is set-aside to small businesses only. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 541990 - All other Professional, Scientific, and Technical Services. Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at http://www.sam.gov, in order to be considered for award. Description of Requirement: Naval Hospital Guam is seeking for Annual Portable Fire Extinguisher Service and Maintenance. The medical facility has a total of 190 portable fire extnguishers and each extinguisher must be certified annually. In addition, 6-year maintenance and 12-year hydrostatic testing must be conducted as needed. Offerors must be trained and certified according to the NFPA-10. This combined synopsis & solicitation notice is a request for competitive quotations. Therefore, all capability statements or quotations received prior to the RFQ close date will be considered.
