This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation will be open for 5 days, in accordance with FAR 5.203(a)(2). Request for Quotation (RFQ) number is N66604-24-Q-0423. The Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) Division Newport, Rhode Island intends to a firm-fixed price contract, for the purchase of forty (40) batteries – with installation, as described below. This procurement is 100% set aside for small business, and the NAICS Code for this acquisition is 335910, with a size standard of 1,250. For quoting purposes, the FFP Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) structure is: CLIN: 0001 Item Description: 12HX505-FR 12 Volt 506 Watts Battery Qty: 40 CLIN: 0002 Item Description: Shipping & Handling (Ground Transport and Ocean Freight) Qty: 1 CLIN: 0003 Item Description: Labor for remove of existing batteries Qty: 1 CLIN: 0004 Item Description: Battery Installation Qty: 1 CLIN: 0005 Item Description: Battery Cellcorder testing after initial 24 hour charging Qty: 1 CLIN: 0006 Item Description: Disposal Fee Qty: 1 CLIN: 0007 Item Description: Cart Rental Qty: 2 CLIN: 0008 Item Description: Battery Lift Rental Qty: 1 The required performance for this procurement is no later than 30 days after date of award; F.O.B. Destination: Santa Rite Guam, 96799. The Government intends to award a single FFP Purchase Order to the eligible and responsible offeror on a Lowest Price, Technically Acceptable basis. In order to be determined technically acceptable: (1)The offeror must quote items in new condition, in the required quantities specified above; (2)Provide proof that all items are shipped from the US; drop shipping from outside the US will not be acceptable. (3)The Government will consider Past Performance information in accordance with DFARS Provision 252.213-7000 where negative information within the Supplier Performance Risk System (SPRS) may render a quote being deemed technically unacceptable.
