This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation will be posted for less than fifteen (15) days in accordance with FAR 5.203(a)(2). Request for Quote (RFQ) number is N6660424Q0367. NUWCDIVNPT intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) purchase order to LAIRD (R&F Products) on a sole source basis for the following Low Radar Cross Sectio mast (LRCSM) assembly, to include delivery of FOB Destination. The RAS units are highly complex composite structures requiring highly specialized manufacturing processes to ensure the functional and performance requirements are achieved. LAIRD (R&F Products) is the only source certified by the Government to meet all the LRCSM assembly specification requirements. Laird (R&F Products) currently possesses the unique knowledge, expertise, and manufacturing facilities required to produce and deliver the RAS units for the LRCSM assemblies. In accordance with DFARS clause 252.211-7003, the contractor shall provide a unique item identifier (UID) for all delivered items for which the Government’s unit acquisition cost is $5,000.00 or more.
