This is a synopsis for non-commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR 5.204 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport, RI (NUWCDIVNPT) has a requirement for build-to-print Cable Assemblies, Copper, Fiber and Hybrid. Award of a single, firm fixed-price (FFP) five-year Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract for first article and production cable assemblies is anticipated. This procurement is being solicited as unrestricted as concurred with NUWCDIVNPT Office of Small Business Programs (OSBP). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 334511. The small business standard is 1,250 employees. A draft Statement of Work is included with this synopsis. Applicable Document 3.1 is Distribution D, which means distribution is authorized only to the DoD and the U.S. DoD contractors with a valid Joint Certification Program (JCP) certification. Only Offerors with an active registration in JCP will be provided access to the drawings. The anticipated source selection evaluation criteria will consider technical capability, past performance and total evaluated price. In order to be considered for an award, the Offeror shall have a current assessment (I.e., not more than 3 years old unless a lesser time is specified in the solicitation)(see 252.204-7020) for each covered contractor information system that is relevant to the offer, contract, task order or delivery order.
