Amendment 0001. The purpose of this amendment is to change the solicitation from Small Business Set-Aside to Full and Open Competition. The RFQ closing date has also changed from 20th June 2023 to the 5th July 2023 at 2PM EST. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is N6660423Q0447. The solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This procurement is being solicited as a Full and Open Competition. NAICS Code 532490, Other Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment Rental and Leasing, as concurred with by the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport (NUWCDIVNPT) Office of Small Business Programs. NUWCDIVNPT intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) purchase order for a five-year lease (one (1) base year and four (4) one-year option years) for a 35,000 pound capacity forklift with 96-inch pallet forks and a 6,000 pound capacity multi-directional forklift with 48-inch pallet forks in order to provide lift capabilities for test equipment at the NUWCDIVNPT Bangor On site Office, Naval Base Kitsap, Submarine Base Bangor, 2012 Guardfish Street, Silverdale, WA.
