Proposals are not being requested at this time, and a written solicitation will be issued. The presoliciation notice shall be posted for a period shorted than 15 days, in accordance with FAR 5.203(a)(1). The solicitation, when posted, will be open for less than 30 days, in accordance with FAR 5.203(b). The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport (NUWCDIVNPT) intends to award a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) contract for the below items, no substitutions. This requirement is being solicited as a 100% small business set-aside, as concurred with by the NUWCDIVNPT Office of Small Business Programs (OSBP). The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this requirement is 334511. The small business size standard is 1,250 employees. CLIN 0001 – Quantity 3 EA, First Article TR-233 Transducer, in accordance with the Statement of Work CLIN 0002 – Quantity 1 LOT, Data in accordance with Exhibit A Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) – NOT SEPARATELY PRICED CLIN 0003 – Max Quantity, Production Level TR-233D Transducer CLIN 0004 – Max Quantity, Production Level TR-233D Receptacle Assembly, Electrical CLIN 0005 – Max Quantity, Production Level TR-233D Acoustic Window NOTE: Contractor will not be authorized to begin work on production level parts (CLIN 0003, 0004, and 0005) until the Government has provided written approval of First Article acceptance. All requests for documents must be submitted either in SAM by vendor’s JCP Point of Contact (POC), or via email, by the same, to the Primary Point of Contact as listed in this solicitation. Emailed requests must be sent from vendor’s JCP Point of Contact (POC) (individual(s) listed in the JCP site are the only ones authorized to receive the documents), and should include: 1. solicitation Notice ID 2. vendor name and address 3. vendor CAGE code Once the vendor’s JCP POC is verified in JCP, documents will either be unlocked for access in SAM, or will be sent to the vendor’s JCP POC via DOD SAFE, as applicable.
