Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport (NUWCDIVNPT) intends to purchase Sound Level Meters, Microphones, Software and Calibration, detailed below, on a Sole Source basis from Hottinger Bruel & Kjaer, Inc. 0001 Type 2250 Hand Held Analyzer with Sound Level Meter, Frequency Analysis, Tone assessment, P/n: 2250-S, Quantity 4 0002 Enhanced Logging Software, P/n: BZ-7225, Quantity 4 0003 FFT Analysis Software, P/n: BZ-7230, Quantity 4 0004 Enhanced Vibration and Low Frequency Option, P/n: BZ-7234, Quantity 4 0005 SLM Advanced, Initial Accredited Calibration incl. microphone according to latest applicable Sound Level Meter standard, P/n: SLM-ADV-CAI, Quantity 4 0006 1/2' Free-field Microphone, 6 Hz to 20 kHz, Prepolarized, us, P/n: 4189, Quantity 2 0007 Microphone Cartridge, Initial Accredited Calibration, P/n: MIC-CAI, Quantity 2 F.O.B. Destination Naval Station Newport, Newport, RI. 02841. The Delivery Date required is 3 weeks from date of purchase order award. This requirement is being solicited on a sole source basis to Hottinger Bruel & Kjaer, Inc. as concurred with by the NUWCDIVNPT Office of Small Business Programs (OSBP). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 334519. The Small Business Size Standard is 500 employees. Hottinger Bruel & Kjaer Inc. is the sole North American distributor of the Type 2250 Hand Held Analyzer with Sound Level Meter and Type 4189 ½” Free Field Microphone. No resellers of this equipment exist, and Hottinger Bruel & Kjaer Inc. are the only source for the software and calibration of this noise measuring equipment. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes. A determination by the Government not to compete this acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
