This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This synopsis/solicitation will be open for less than 30 days, in accordance with FAR 5.203(b). The request for Quotation (RFQ) number is N6660421Q0556. The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport (NUWCDIVNPT) intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) purchase order on a sole source basis to General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT), 3150 Fairview Park Drive Fall Church, VA 22042 (CAGE Code: 07MU1), for the following items: CLIN 0001 - Quantity 1, Lock Controller Assembly F.O.B. Destination; Naval Station Newport, RI 02841-1708 This requirement is solicited on an unrestricted basis as concurred with by the NUWCDIVNPT Office of Small Business Programs. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 334419 with a small business standard of 750 employees. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Additional terms and conditions: In accordance with DFARS 252.211-7003 ‘Item Identification and Valuation’ proposed unit prices exceeding $5,000 require UID tags. Payment will be made via Wide Area Workflow (WAWF). This requirement does not include Electronic and Information Technology (EIT) and therefore Section 508 compliance is not applicable to this requirement. Offerors must be actively registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) (https://www.sam.gov/SAM/) to be eligible for award. Instructions for registration are available on the SAM website.
