This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Destination to Newport, RI, 02841-1708 This requirement is a sole source procurement under North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code 334519 with a small business size standard of 500 employees, as concurred with by the NUWCDIVNPT Office of Small Business Programs. This is a sole source procurement due to compatibility concerns with the existing infrastructure and considerations for efficient execution of the current and future business of NUWCDIVNPT. The required items will be integrated with an existing laboratory pilot-scale Brabender polymer extrusion system that currently resides and is used on-site at NUWCDIVNPT (a Brabender Mark II Concial Twin Screw Extruder).
