This is a Combined Synopsis and Solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. A separate, written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation will be open for less than 30 days, in accordance with FAR 5.203(b). The Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Newport (NUWCDIVNPT) intends to award a Firm Fixed Price purchase order for the following items from AdaCore Technologies, Inc.: CLIN Stock Code Description Qty 0001 T25:ENT-ADA/VX6PPCWIN GNAT Pro Enterprise Ada cross environment to develop Ada software (including Ada 2012) for PowerPC VxWorks 6.x (32 bits) hosted on x86 Windows 1 0002 T25:ENT-ADA/VXPPCWIN LTS (Long Term Support) version GNAT Pro Enterprise Ada cross environment to develop Ada software (including Ada 2012) for PowerPC VxWorks 5.x hosted on x86 Windows 1 0003 T25:ENT-ADA/X86WIN GNAT Pro Enterprise Ada native environment to develop Ada software (including Ada 2012) for x86 Windows (32 bits) native 1 The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source, as concurred with by the NUWCDIVNPT Office of Small Business Programs. See attached Justification and Approval. AdaCore Technologies, Inc. is the sole provider of GNAT Pro, GNAT Pro tools and support maintenance and any upgrades to the GNAT Pro subscriptions. The software and maintenance renewals are proprietary to AdaCore Technologies and therefore, the requirement is intended as a sole source award to AdaCore Technologies; no substitutions allowed. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 511210; the Small Business Size Standard is $38.5 million dollars. Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-101.
