Installation must be in accordance with the Specifications and drawing 22-032A. The Herman Miller brand is the only acceptable product to match in connectivity and selection of fabric colors to match the already installed product within the other half of B-1351 first floor. The product will also match many of the other installations within the other buildings throughout the base and what is located in our storage facility for ease of reconfiguration and style. It is in the best interest of the Government to procure Herman Miller furniture due to time and cost efficiencies as using another brand would require procuring entire assembly kits, components would not be readily available, and another brand would not integrate into the existing units. Herman Miller furniture is the only furniture that is compatible with currently installed furniture. This requirement must be provided through Herman Miller to make quick changes in furniture configuration that support continued office expansion, provide interchangeable work spaces, and utilize existing furniture stock throughout NUWCDIVNPT.
