N66604-23-Q-0056 Combined Synopsis/Solicitation This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation will be open for less than 30 days, in accordance with FAR 5.203(b). Request for Quotation (RFQ) number is N66604-23- Q-0056. The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport (NUWCDIVNPT) intends to award a firm fixed price purchase order to Instruments Inc. (CAGE:34563), 7263 Engineer Rd. STE G., San Diego, CA 92111, on a sole source basis for a L20-LF Amplifier as specified in the table below and the attached 'Amplifier Specification Requirements' document. CLIN Description P/N Qty. 0001 L20-LF Amplifier 1045001-02 1 (*See attached 'Amplifier Specification Requirements') NUWCDIVNPT’s Dodge Pond Acoustic Measurement Facility (DPAMF) serves as a research and development test facility for military underwater acoustic devices. Dodge Pond requires a replacement L20-LF Amplifier for the obsolete unit currently in use at the DPAMF. Instruments Inc. is the only company that manufacturers the L20-LF Amplifier, the only amplifier available to test and at the levels needed DPMAF. Therefore, this requirement will be awarded to Instruments Inc. on a sole source basis. This requirement is solicited on an unrestricted basis as concurred with by NUWCDIVNPT’s Office of Small Business Programs. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 334220; the Small Business Size Standard is 1,250 employees. F.O.B. Destination: Newport, RI, 02841-170 Delivery shall be made 6-8 months after date of contract award or sooner. The contractor shall provide delivery schedule as part of submission. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement which will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
