Solicitation Posting Amendment 0003: *NOTE: This is solicitation amendment 0002 The purpose of this amendment is to update Section F Clause 52.211-8 'TIME OF DELIVERY (JUN 1997)', as detailed in attachment N6660422Q90090002. Solicitation Posting Amendment 0002: *NOTE: This is solicitation amendment 0001 The purpose of this amendment is as follows: Pursuant to DFARS 212.102(a)(iv), the contracting officer has applied commercial item procedures to the procurement of the required supplies from business segments that meet the definition of “nontraditional defense contract. SECTION L Revise INSTRUCTIONS FOR SUBMISSION OF QUOTES, Note 2 as follows: Note 2: This requirement is solicited as unrestricted, however, in order to be considered for award, Offerors must be considered nontraditional as defined in DFARS 202.101. Pursuant to DFARS 202.101, “Nontraditional defense contractor” means an entity that is not currently performing and has not performed any contract or subcontract for DoD that is subject to full coverage under the cost accounting standards prescribed pursuant to 41 U.S.C. 1502 and the regulations implementing such section, for at least the 1-year period preceding the solicitation of sources by DoD for the procurement (10 U.S.C. 2302(9)). See Attachment N6660422Q90090001 for additional information. Solicitation Posting Amendment 0001: The purpose of this amendment is to include Exhibit A CDRLs in the attachments section of this posting. The solicitation remains unchanged. The Government is looking for offerors to submit quotes for the manufacture of Buoy Shell Cases. In order to obtain access to the Technical Data Package (TDP) and Drawings for this RFQ, companies must be registered and have an active account in the Joint Certification Program (JCP). Requests for these items must be made by the individual listed in JCP. Requests to access the TDP and drawing package must be made via email to Nicholas Salzano at nicholas.j.salzano.civ@us.navy.mil. The deadline for the submission of questions is 29 July 2022. The deadline for the submission of quotes is 15 August 2022. Quotes received after the above deadline are late and may not be considered for award. Quotes shall be valid for no less than 180 calendar days.
