This purchase request seeks to replace and upgrade the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Code 851’s Research Water Tunnel (RWT) motor drive controller, cabinet and remote operation terminal. An existing control system will be replaced with a modern version. A service agreement must be utilized to allow for the installation, setup and training of NUWC personnel to ensure the system is running smoothly and efficiently. NUWCDIVNPT intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) purchase order, under FAR Part 13. Although one potential offeror that has been identify is a self-represented Small Business, under NAICS Code 42830, no more than one (1) could be indeitified during market research, and, therefore, this requirement is being competed on a full and open competition basis. Deliveries shall be F.O.B. Destination, Newport, RI, USA (02841). This procurement is being processed using FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The following addenda or additional terms and conditions apply: Defense Priorities and Responses to the attached RFQ N66604-22-Q-0401 must be received by 2:00PM EST on 20 JULY 2022.
