Question #1: Specification Section 23 05 93, Paragraph 1.5.4 Subcontractor Special Requirements indicates: “Perform all work in this section in accordance with the paragraph SUBCONTRACTOR SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS in Section 01 30 00 ADMINISTRATIVE REQUIREMENTS, stating that all contract requirements of this section must be accomplished directly by a first tier subcontractor. No work may be performed by a second tier subcontractor.” Answer #1: The Government strikes Paragraph 1.5.4 Subcontractor Special Requirements in its entirety. Contractor may consider struck Paragraph as “Not used,” with no renumbering of remaining paragraphs. Question #2: Could Government provide record drawings to assist Contractor in determining method for water isolation? Answer #2: Regret that Government is not able to provide accurate record or as-built drawings for existing system. Offeror should propose its technical approach—and alternate approaches if appropriate—for tying into building’s existing hot water and chilled water system. Question #3: Is there existing glycol?
