The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport (NUWCDIVNPT) intends to lease a postage meter machine, on a Brand Name or Equal basis, as detailed in the attached solicitation notice. The solicitation, N66604-21-Q-0476, is released and is attached as part of this notice. Offerors shall include price and the following additional information with the submissions: Point of contact (including phone number and email address), Contractor CAGE code, and Contractors DUNS number. Quotes shall be submitted electronically to Renee Thiboutot at renee.thiboutot@navy.mil and must be received on or before Monday, July 26, 2021 at 11:59 AM Eastern Standard Time (EST). Amendment 0001: Attached solicitation notice is updated to include applicable 508 standards. Amendment 0002: Attached solicitation notice is updated to incorporate applicable GSA SIN# and update the printing label size from 4x8" to 4x6". Amendment 0002 also provides answer to the following submitted questions: Q: Under specifications the government has listed “Multi-Carrier Shipping (FedEx and USPS), does the government require a turnkey system that shall include all components needed to meet all salient characteristics of the RFQ? A: Yes Q: Is it a requirement that the system rate and process FedEX using Next Generation rates and USPS using Schedule 48 affording the Agency the lowest possible carrier pricing to the Agency? A: Yes Q: To confirm the government will only supply convenience power, table and connectivity. All other components will be supplied by the vendor. A: Yes Q: The government has listed “Integrated postage label dispenser – capable of printing 4x8” labels”. The standard USPS and FedEX shipping label is 4”x6”. Would the government update the specification so that the 4”x6” shipping label is acceptable? A: Yes
