Q1. Would the contractor be disqualified if they don’t send a quotation for every part number in the solicitation? A1.The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price contract for the entire parts list indicated in Attachment 1 of this RFQ. Q2. Does every P/N require a separate quotation, or can they all be in one quotation number? A2. The Contractor shall submit a quote with all parts listed. Separate quotes for separate line items are not required. Q3. On Dwg No. 07093352, the McMaster part number that is called out is only 6” long and the length on the print is 6.680”. Could we use the next size up in McMaster which would be 9” long? A3. The material specifications listed on Drawing 07093352 are suggestions. The Government acknowledges there is a type-o in the McMaster-Carr material, however the base material should be longer than the length of the rod. The Government also acknowledges that any Stainless Steel, Type 316, ASTM 276, can be used to build this part. Q4. On Dwg No. 07093344, the McMaster part number on the print is for piano hinges, and the print calls out Butt Hinges. Can you please clarify? A4. Hinge MS20001-8 are identified in Drawing 08093344 as “piano hinges without holes” to be consistent with the McMaster Carr parts catalog. The Mil-spec title is “Hinge, Butt Structural, Extruded”. The Government acknowledges the discrepancy in description. In order to be determined technically acceptable, This unit must meet the Mil-Specs listed in drawing 07093344. In this case, the McMaster Carr meets the Mil-specs in Drawing 07093344. Solicitation Amendment 0001: The purpose of this amendment is to answer questions from industry and to extend the required response date of quote submittal. Q1. What is your target turnaround for this project? A1. The Government’s target award time for this requirement is approximately one week after solicitation close. Q2. There is no attachment with FAR Provision 52.204-24, however the below is listed in the RFQ. Will this be added to the RFQ attachments? "Offerors shall fill-in and submit attached FAR Provision 52.204-24 Representation Regarding Certain Telecommunications and Video Surveillance Services or Equipment." A2. The Government will provide a copy of FAR Provision 52.204-24 to the LPTA offeror, to be file out and returned prior to contract award. Q3. Would it be possible to extend the due date for this RFQ out a week or two? A3. The Government will extend the required response date for quote submittal to 5 February 2021. This amendment extends the required response dae from 28 January 2021 to 5 February 2021.
