The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport (NUWCDIVNPT) intends to award a Multiple Award Contract (MAC), 5 year, Indefinite Delviery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for design, development, fabrication, test, installation, analysis, documentation, and delivery for rapid prototype solutions associated with NUWCDIVNPT, Sensors and SONAR System Department, Code 15 products, systems, subsystems, support equipment, and associated capabilites within five functional areas: (1) Sensors, Hydrophones, Transducers and Optical Systems, (2) Arryas, Networks and Underwater Communications, (3) Signal Processing, Algorithms, Intelligent Agents and Electronics, (4) Mechanical Systems, Handling Equipment, and Cables, and (5) Environmental Protection and Extended Life. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 334511. The Small Business Size Standard is 1250 employees. This procurement is being solicited on an unrestricted basis as concurred with by the NUWCDIVNPT Office for Small Business Programs. Soruces Sought for purposes of establishing small business opportunities for this requirement was previously listed on 30 October 2017 under solicitation Number N66604-17-R-2330, as well as an Industry Day to provide a presentation to the industry community for a better understanding of teh Sensors and SONAR Systems Rapid Prototype Development requirement, was previously posted on 16 April 2019 under Solication Number N66604-19-S-0084. The close by date for receipt of proposals is 31 March 2020 by 2:00pm ET, with question submissions due 24 March 2020 by 2:00pm ET. The Government intends to award to the eligible, responsible offeror whose offer represents the best value, considering cost/price, past performance, small business participation and technical factors. The specific evaluation criteria will be outlined in the solicitation. All timely offers will be considered. The solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted to thebeta.SAM.gov website. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from this website and for monitoring the site for any amendments.
