This combined synopsis and solicitation is being posted to the government point of entry page located at http://www.beta.sam.gov. This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation will be open for less than 30 days, in accordance with FAR 5.203(b). Request for Quotation (RFQ) number is N66604-20-Q-8219. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) code for this requirement is 334519. The Small Business Size Standard is 500 employees. This action is being processed on a sole source basis to Unholtz Dickie, as concurred with by a Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport (NUWCDIVNPT) Procuring Contracting Officer (PCO). NUWCDIVNPT requires the purchase of one (1) PMI60Y POWER MODULE, S/N SP2918I. Unholtz Dickie is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and the only manufacturer currently building the custom power modules required for the T-5000 electro-dynamic vibration system. Purchasing the PMI-60-Y power module will ensure system compatibility with the existing Unholtz Dickie Power Amplifier 2ASAI240 utilized in NUWCDICNPT’s Unholtz Dickie T-5000 electro-dynamic vibration system. As such, Unholtz Dickie is the only vendor that is capable of meeting the Government's minimum requirements. NUWCDIVNPT intends to award a sole source, firm-fixed price contract to Unholtz Dickie for the following: CLIN Line Item Description ____ Qty.____ 0001 PMI60Y POWER MODULE, S/N SP2918I 1 F.O.B. Destination: Newport, RI, 02841-1708. The required delivery date is four (4) weeks after receipt of order (ARO), or sooner. Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the current Federal Acquisition Circular. Provisions FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items, FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation - Commercial Items, and FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items apply to this solicitation. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future. The quote must be received on or before 8 May 2020 at 2:00PM EST. A quote received after this date and time is late and may not be considered for award.
