NUWCDIVNPT Code 15 is responsible for services and materials procured for the TAIPT telemetry configuration Management, Engineering Services, and the upgrade, maintenance, fabrication, or development of the components and special test equipment in support of the Towed Systems program which utilize TAIPT telemetry. The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport (NUWCDIVNPT) has a requirement for technical, engineering services, and materials for the Towed Array Integrated Product Team (TAIPT) Telemetry towed array technology. The above services and materials will be solicited on a sole source basis. The Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) structure is as follows: CLIN 0001 Engineering Services/CPFF CLIN 0002 ODCs related to CLIN 0001/Cost only CLIN 0003 DATA associated with CLIN 0001/Not Separately Priced CLIN 0004 Spare Parts /FFP CLIN 0005 Data Package (Drawings and Models) The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport, RI (NUWCDIVNPT) intends to award a Sole Source Requirement to L3 Chesapeake Science Corporation (L3/CSC). The sole source is based on this requirement being derived from an SBIR Product that was originally developed under topic #N95-209. As a result, this requirement is being solicited and awarded on a sole source basis under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(5), as implemented by FAR 6.302-5: Authorized or Required by Statute: 15 U.S.C. 638(r)(1) and (4). The contract shall provide the services and materials as per the attached draft SOW. The anticipated solicitation release date is 01 MARCH 2019. The resulting contract will be an indefinite delivery, and indefinite quantity contract with Cost Plus Fixed Fee, Cost only and Firm Fixed Price provisions. The period of performance is date of award through thirty-six (36) months thereafter. All timely challenging will be considered.
