Amendment 0001: The purpose of this amendment is to post the associated solicitation. This synopsis is being posted to the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov. It is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitation to the internet. This is a synopsis for noncommercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 13 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the most current Federal Acquisition Circular. The Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Newport (NUWCDIVNPT) intends to award a firm fixed price purchase order for Build-to-Print hex plugs and top cap plates in accordance with drawing packages 8192818-3 and 8192914-2. . This is intended as a total small-business set-aside. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 332510. The Small Business Size Standard is 750 employees. The NUWCDIVNPT Office for Small Business Programs concurs. The Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) structure is identified below. CLIN 0001: Quantity of thirty two (32) Top Cap Plates in accordance with Drawing #: 8192914-2 Rev. C CLIN 0002: Quantity of sixty four (64) Hex Plugs in accordance with Drawing#: 8192818-3 Rev. C CLIN 0003: Shipping charges for FOB Destination to Portsmouth, NH. The Government has determined that this requirement does not include Electronic and Information Technology (EIT), therefore, Section 508 requirements do not apply. Offerors must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) (https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/) to be eligible for award. Instructions for registration are available at the website. The following addenda or additional terms and conditions apply: Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) rating is DO-C9. The anticipated release date of Request for Quote (RFQ) Number N66604-19-Q-2488 is fifteen days from posting and will be posted for less than 30 days in accordance with FAR 5.203(b). The closing date for receipt of quotes will be established in the Request For Quote (RFQ). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Offers for these products must contain complete information and prices. The solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted to the FBO.gov website. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from the website and for monitoring the site for any amendments.
