This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Request for Quotation (RFQ) number is N66604-19-Q-1304. The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport (NUWCDIVNPT) intends to award a Firm Fixed Price purchase order to DCX-CHOL Enterprises, Inc. 9330 DeSoto Ave. Chatsworth, CA 91311 on a sole source basis in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b). DCX-CHOL is the sole manufacturer and exclusive distributor of the Mk 62 RCN Umbilical A-Cables. There are no known authorized resellers. See Attachment #1 Sole Source Justification for more details. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
