Solicitation Amendment 9: The purpose of this amendment is to: 1) Extend the Response Date to September 24, 2018. The Government will be adding updated drawings. This notice also contains a conformed copy of the entire solicitation (SF 1449), as updated by this amendment. 3) Post additional drawings. Answer 1: No, the Government will not be supplying mating connectors. Question 2: Spec. 7443730 says there is FAT, will there be an amendment adding the FAT? Answer 2: Yes, First Article Testing (FAT) is required and an amendment to the Solicitation will be forthcoming. 2) Populate a new Response Date in the "Notice Details" of this posting. The Government will be amending the Solicitation to include FAT. Therefore, the Response Date is being extended to April 27, 2018. Solicitation Amendment 1: The purpose of this amendment is to 1) Address an industry question and update the Solicitation accordingly: Question 1: Can the Government provide Test Requirement Specification 7443730? Answer 1: The Government has attached Test Requirement Specification 7443730 to this Solicitation as a Distribution D Package. 2) Populate a Response Date and Time in the "Notice Details" of this posting. Although the Response Date and Time were already stated in block 8. of the Solicitation (Standard Form 1449), the Response Date and Time are now also posted in the "Notice Details" section of this posting. This is a synopsis for non-commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 13.105, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Newport (NUWCDIVNPT) intends to purchase, on a competitive and Firm-Fixed-Price basis, the fabrication of connectors, in accordance with applicable drawings (attached hereto). The requirement will be solicited as a total small business set-aside as concurred with by the NUWCDIVNPT Office of Small Business Programs (OSBP). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 334417. The Small Business Size Standard is 1,000 employees. The Government's anticipated CLIN structure is as follows: CLIN 0001: Connector, Side Purge Bulkhead (4 pin) 7443725-1; Quantity 10 EACH CLIN 0002: Connector, Side Purge Bulkhead (3 pin) 7443725-2; Quantity 10 EACH CLIN 0003: Connector, Side Purge Bulkhead (2 pin) 7443725-3; Quantity 10 EACH CLIN 0004: Connector, Side Purge Bulkhead (2 pin) 7443725-4; Quantity 10 EACH CLIN 0005: Shipping; Quantity 1 JOB Required delivery is no later than 31 August 2018. Delivery shall be F.O.B. Destination, Naval Station Newport; Newport, RI 02841. The drawings associated with this requirement are labeled Distribution D which means distribution is authorized to the DoD and U.S. DoD contractors with a valid Joint Certification Program (JCP) certification. Only offerors with an active registration in JCP will be provided access to the drawings. The successful offeror shall provide a Unique Item Identifier (UID) for delivered items for which the unit cost is $5,000.00 or more, in accordance with DFARS 252.211-7003. The anticipated release date of the Request For Quote (RFQ) Number N66604-18-Q-1533 is to be on, or around, 30 March 2018. The closing date for receipt of quotes will be established in the RFQ.
