NUWCDIVNPT intends to award a Firm Fixed Price purchase order on a sole-source basis to Teledyne D.G. Obrien (TDGO), 162 Corporate Dr., STE 100, Portsmouth, NH 03801 (Cage Code: 17476). The uniquely designed cable TDGO developed is source controlled and TDGO is the approved source of supply as detailed in the Sole Source Justification attached. The circumstances of the contract action deem only one source available. The pre-solicitation has been waived per FAR 5.202(a)(13). The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport (NUWCDIVNPT) has a requirement to purchase OA-9070E/BQQ Thin Line Towed Array Handling System (TLTAHS) Motor Signal Cables in accordance with NAVSEA drawing #8740638-1 and 2 as shown in the table below and the attached solicitation. Qty Part # Item 1 1155211-110 Motor Signal Cable Assembly, Backfit Plug, 2R-SH022 (QTY. 3) 1 1155211-111 Motor Signal Cable Assembly, Backfit Plug, 2R-SH024 (QTY. 3) The delivery date is 28 weeks After Receipt of Order. F.O.B Destination, Newport, RI 02841-1708 This requirement is an unrestricted, sole-source procurement as concurred with by the NUWCDIVNPT Office of Small Business Programs. The NAICS Code is 335931; the size standard is 500 employees. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement which will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
