The purpose of this synopsis is to announce the Department of the Navy, Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Pacific's intent to award a Firm-Fixed-Price purchase order on a noncompetitive basis to Convergent Engineering, Inc. Unique Entity ID:VMATQ3VAK1S8, CAGE Code: 47JS0, of 100 SW 75TH ST STE 106 Gainesville, Florida, 32607-5775, United States. The requirement is for the following custom EUI Marine Mammal Respiratory Monitor: Manufacturer: Convergent Engineering, Inc. Description: Respiratory monitors incorporating the FDA-cleared Philips FloTrac module with large bore flow pressure sensors specific to the needs of large marine mammals in a rugged, splash-proof enclosure. Part Number: DolVent3 Quantity: 2 each The Government intends to negotiate solely with Convergent Engineering, Inc. under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b), only one source capable of meeting the Government's requirement. FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures and FAR part 12 Acquisition of Commercial items, applies. However, all responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. A copy of the Request for Quote will be made available upon request.
