The purpose of this synopsis is to announce the Department of the Navy, Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Pacific's intent to award a Firm-Fixed-Price purchase order on a noncompetitive basis to Reuter-Stokes, LLC. The requirement is for the following Helium proportional counters: Manufacturer: Reuter-Stokes, LLC Item: 1 inch diameter x 20-inch active length He-3 Proportional counter with 8.5 atm He# gas Quantity: 24 Each Part Number: RS-P4-0820-226 The Government intends to negotiate solely with Reuter-Stokes, LLC. Under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b), only one source capable of meeting the Government's requirement. FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures and FAR part 12 Acquisition of Commercial items, applies.
