This synopsis is hereby issued in accordance with FAR Part 5.201. The purpose of this Synopsis is to announce the Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Pacific's intent to award a Firm-Fixed-Price purchase order on a non-competitive basis to The Open Group. Requirement Information NIWC will procure a one-year membership including four option years with The Open Group. The Government intends to negotiate solely with The Open Group under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b), only one source capable of meeting the Government's requirement. FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, and FAR part 12, Acquisition of Commercial items, apply. The applicable NAICS Code is 813920, Professional Organizations, and the business size standard is $23.5 million. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes; however, any responsible source believing that it can fulfill the requirement may inquire with the point of contact listed below.
