The purpose of this synopsis is to announce the Department of the Navy, Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Pacific's intent to award a Firm-Fixed-Price purchase order on a noncompetitive basis to Schroff, Inc. Unique ID JKLMWYMJX745, CAGE Code 62559, of 170 Commerce Drive. Warwick RI. 028686-2430, United States. The requirement is for the following Schroff, Inc, brand equipment: Manufacturer: Schroff Inc. Part Number: SUB011899 Description: VME SUBRACK W/ J1 VME BACKPLANE Quantity: 3 Each Manufacturer: Schroff Inc. Part Number: SUB017031 Description: CUSTOM VME SUBRACK Quantity: 28 Each FAR 13.106-1(b), only one source capable of meeting the Government's requirement. FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures and FAR part 12 Acquisition of Commercial items, applies. However, all responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. A copy of the Request for Quote will be made available upon request. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
