The Department of the Navy, Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific (NIWC Pacific) hereby publicizes its intention to solicit, negotiate, and award a Commercial, Firm-Fixed- Price purchase order on a noncompetitive basis with Evergreen Fire and Security, (CAGE code: 1XMK2) of Tacoma, WA. The requirement is for the purchase of the following: The Modern Dynamic Incoporated (MDI) Intrusion Detection and Alarm System servers located at Naval Informational Warfare Center Pacific (NIWC PAC) requires an upgrade installation in order to support Intrusion Detction System (IDS) technical specifications. In an effort to remain compliant with DIA and SSO Navy policies, a server upgrade install is needed. The contractor shall install upgraded IDS alarm servers. The servers will be installed and configured to report to the NIWC PAC Physical Security Office, POST 26 and the Southwest Regional Dispatch Center. The contractor shall replace the current servers with two upgraded purchased servers, to include installing all required liscensing and other required software needed. Installation will include a contractor field test and system acceptance testing. A determination by the government not to compete based upon responses to this notice is solely at the discretion of the government. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes; however, all interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities in response to this notice, and must clearly show the firm's ability to be responsive without compromising quality, accuracy and reliability.
