The purpose of this synopsis is to announce the Department of the Navy, Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Pacific's intent to award a Firm-Fixed-Price purchase order on a noncompetitive basis to LINDE GAS & EQUIPMENT INC. Item 0001 Description: Helium-3 99% Manufacturer: Linde Part Number: 24111594 Quantity: 385 liters Item 0002 Description: Cylinder Manufacturer: Linde P/N: 14008293 Quantity: 1 The Government intends to negotiate solely with Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b), only one source capable of meeting the Government's requirement. FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures and FAR part 12 Acquisition of Commercial items, applies. However, all responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. A copy of the Request for Quote will be made available upon request.
