The purpose of this synopsis is to announce the Department of the Navy, Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Pacific's intent to award a Firm-Fixed-Price purchase order on a noncompetitive basis to Senspex Incorporated (CAGE: 1XAW2) of 6050 Zenith Court NE Rio Rancho, New Mexico 87144-6425, United States This requirement is for the following assets meeting the noted specification & capability requirements: Item 0001: P/N: 950061-10 Description: Dual-sensor Camera System, model SPX-550 Mfg: Senspex Incorporated QTY: 5 Item 0002: P/N: 9993641-02 Description: Thermal Imaging Camera, SPX-550 subassembly module Mfg: Senspex Incorporated QTY: 1 Specification & Capability Requirements: • 40 mm/550 mm Continuous zoom thermal imager, f/4.0 aperture 3-5 um; • 640x480 pixel HOT imaging sensor; • Boresighted HD 1080p digital vis camera • Pan & Tilt System with 23-pin MilC 38999-26 series main harness connector, pan & tilt speed of 300 degrees/sec The proposed contract action is for commercial supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of 41 U.S.C. 1901, as implemented by FAR subpart 13.5. Acquisition of Commercial Items under FAR Part 12 and Simplified Acquisitions Procedures under FAR Part 13.5 apply. The applicable NAICS Code is 561621 - Security Systems Services (except Locksmiths), and the business size standard is $25 Million in annual receipts. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes; however, any responsible source believing that it can fulfill the requirement may be considered by the agency.
