This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. The Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Pacific in San Diego, CA is seeking responsible contractors that can procure and install Monitor Dynamics (MDI) brand Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) as specified in the attached Statement of Work (SOW) and Bill of Materials (BOM). This requirement will be competed as other than full and open (Brand Name Only requirement), specifically for IDS security and alarm products (see JNCP and BOM). The contractor shall provide all personnel, supplies, transportation, tools and equipment- as stipulated in the SOW and BOM-necessary to perform this contract. To be considered acceptable and eligible for award, quotes must provide all of the items and quantities listed in the BOM. The Government will not consider quotes or offers for partial items or quantities. The anticipated delivery date for this requirement is 18 APR 2023.
