Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific (NIWC Pacific), intends to award a firm-fixed price (FFP) purchase order to W5 Technologies, Inc. W5 Technologies will provide it's MUOOS Single Satellite Beam Carrier Base Unit Model #1900-1 and MUOOS Single Satellite Beam Carrier Expansion Option Model #1900-2. These products are the SBIR Phase III commercialization of products developed under SBIR Phase I and II. As a SBIR Phase III acquisition this procurement satisfied competition requirements in SBIR Phase I and II and a sole-source procurement is in accordance with 10 U.S.C. 2304(b)(2) and 41 U.S.C. 3303(b). Similarly, in accordance with SBIR guidelines, no Justification and Approval pursuant to FAR 6.302-5 is required for a SBIR Phase III. This notice of intent to sole source is NOT a request for competitive quotes/proposals. The order will be awarded in accordance with FAR Part 13.5, Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Products and Commercial Services. A determination by the Government not to compete based upon responses to this notice is solely at the discretion of the Government.
