The Department of the Navy, Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific (NIWC Pacific), code 22530, hereby publicizes its intention to solicit, negotiate, and award a Firm-Fixed- Price purchase order on a noncompetitive basis with Geon Technologies, LLC under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This action will be conducted under FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13. This procurement is for Geon Technologies, LLC (Geontech) Software package to implement a VITA-49.2 transceiver on a XILINX ZCU216 RF system on a chip module. The requirement is for the purchase is listed in the attached file, "Notice of Intent to Award Sole Source." This notice of intent is NOT a request for quote. A determination by the government not to compete based upon responses to this notice is solely at the discretion of the government. The applicable NAICS Code is 334413 and the business size standard is 1,250. Be advised that the aforementioned information is anticipatory in nature and is not binding. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals; however, any firm believing that it can perform these services may be considered by the agency. Interested parties may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency.
