N66001-22-Q-6198: Notice of Intent to Make a Sole Source Award to L3 OceanServer, Inc. This synopsis is hereby issued in accordance with FAR Part 5.201. The purpose of this synopsis is to announce the Department of the Navy, Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Pacific's intent to award a Firm-Fixed-Price purchase order on a noncompetitive basis to L3 OceanServer, Inc. (CAGE: 3Z1E3) of 275 Martine Street, Suite 103, Fall River, Massachusetts, 02723-1500. | This requirement is for the following: ITEM 0001- Iver3 Smart Tail Assembly Mfg: L3 Oceanserver, Inc. QTY: 2 ITEM 0002- Iver3 Fin Servo Mfg: L3 Oceanserver, Inc. QTY: 8 ITEM 0003- ORS Fin Assembly (A07) Mfg: L3 Oceanserver, Inc. QTY: 8 ITEM 0004- Orange Fin 1.25X Mfg: L3 Oceanserver, Inc. QTY: 8 ITEM 0005- Yellow Fin 1.25X Mfg: L3 Oceanserver, Inc. QTY: 8 The Government intends to negotiate solely with L3 OceanServer, Inc. under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b), due to only one source being reasonably available to meet the Government's needs. FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, apply. The applicable NAICS Code is 334511, Search, Detection, Navigation, Guidance, Aeronautical, and Nautical System and Instrument Manufacturing and the business size standard is 1,250 employees. Please be advised the aforementioned information is anticipatory in nature and is not binding. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes; however, any responsible source believing that it can fulfill the requirement may be considered by the agency. Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities in response to this synopsis, and must clearly show the firm's ability to be responsive without compromising the quality, accuracy, and reliability of services provided. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Capability statements, comments, questions, or concerns regarding this notice shall be submitted via e-mail ONLY to Jeremy Clay by 11:00 AM PT, Monday, 18 April 2022.
