The Department of the Navy, Naval Information Warfare Center, Pacific (NIWC Pacific), San Diego, CA hereby publicizes its intention to solicit, negotiate, and award a firm fixed price purchase order on a noncompetitive basis with Comware Technology International Inc. The requirement is for the purchase of the following: ITEM 0001 vtVAX Bare Metal 256 MB IC Standard Support – 1st Cirrus P/N: vtVAX-256IC-BM-SS QTY: 1 EA ITEM 0002 vtVAX Bare Metal 256 MB IC Standard Support – 2nd Cirrus P/N: vtVAX-256IC-BM-SS QTY: 1 EA ITEM 0003 vtVAX Bare Metal 256 MB IC Standard Support – Helios P/N: vtVAX-128-BM-SS QTY: 1 EA ITEM 0004 vtVAX Bare Metal 256 MB IC Standard Support – 1st Cirrus P/N: vtVAX-256IC-BM-SS QTY: 1 EA ITEM 0005 vtVAX Bare Metal 256 MB IC Standard Support – 2nd Cirrus P/N: vtVAX-256IC-BM-SS QTY: 1 EA ITEM 0006 vtVAX Bare Metal 256 MB IC Standard Support – Helios P/N: vtVAX-128-BM-SS QTY: 1 EA ITEM 0007 Annual Support for NOSC-A, MicroVAX 4400 Replacement system P/N: Annual Support QTY: 1 EA Comware Technology International Inc., will provide Renewal Support required to maintain the VTAX System components, parts, system configuration, and functionality for the continued operation of a stable platform on the VTAX System to meet the Program of Record (POR) requirements for the Command and Control Processor (C2P) Development Lab at NIWC Pacific, San Diego, CA. Vere Technologies is the OEM and has a "sole source" supplier and that assigned Value Added Reseller partner is Comware Technology International Inc. Based on the approved JNCP (Justification for Non-Competitive Procurement), which will be posted after award, there is only one responsible source and no other supplier will satisfy the agency requirement. A determination by the Government not to compete based upon responses to this notice is solely at the discretion of the government.
