This synopsis is hereby issued in accordance with FAR Part 5.201. The purpose of this synopsis is to announce the Department of the Navy, Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Pacific's intent to award a Firm-Fixed- Price purchase order on a noncompetitive basis to Stratasys, Inc. DUNS: 613465806, CAGE: 1GKB4) of 7665 Commerce Way, Eden Prairie, Minnesota 55344-2020. The requirement is for a commercial software and hardware annual service maintenance agreement for a Fortus 450MC 3D printer [Emerald Care450 (P/N SC-FDM00026) for S/N K10222]. The term of the plan is one year from date of award (plus three one-year option periods). The Government intends to negotiate solely with Stratasys, Inc. under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b), Only one source capable of meeting the Government's requirement. FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures and FAR Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial items, applies. The applicable NAICS Code is 811212 and the size standard is $30 million. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes; however, any responsible source believing that it can fulfill the requirement may submit a quote which may be considered by the Government. All responses received by this date may be considered by the Government for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
